Variation order audit

Purpose

Variation instructions often arrive faster than the pricing paper. We audit entitlement language, measurement method, and rates applied so disputed items do not silently inflate the account.

• Register of instructions with entitlement notes
• Rate build-up checks against the schedule of rates or star rates
• Highlight of instructions missing time or cost confirmation

Working method

We work from the contract administrator’s instruction log and the contractor’s priced submission. Site photographs and shop drawings are used when quantities are contested.
